An organisation does not exist without a dedicated, passionate team. tchop makes it easy to manage users with the help of different user roles. You will be able to manage all the users that are part of your organisation and their roles within the different channels. With the help of different user roles, you can manage the permission of the users and decide what users from a specific user role are allowed to do on your tchop dashboard.
tchop has the following user role in place:
- Organisation Admin: An organisation admin have access to everything in the organisation. The user with organisation admin user role can manage all the users and channels in his/her organisation. The permission of the org. admin cannot be changed.
- Channel Admin: A channel Admin, by default, has the permission to manage everything within a channel. The user with channel admin user role can manage content, integration, push notification, users, chats and everything else within the channel. However, an organisation admin can manage the permission of the channel admin via the organisation dashboard (See below)
- Editor: An Editor, by default, has the permission to manage the content within a channel. The user with editor user role can only manage content and integration within the channel. However, an organisation admin can manage the permission of the channel admin via the organisation dashboard (See below)
- Editor-limited: An Editor-limited, by default, do not have the permission to manage anything from the backend dashboard. The user with editor-limited user role can only post content in a mix where the curators (organisation admin, channel admin and editor) of the channel has provided access.
- Reader: Similar to editor-limited, a Reader, by default, does not have the permission to manage anything from the backend dashboard. The user with reader user role can only post content in a mix where the curators (organisation admin, channel admin and editor) of the channel has provided access.
The organisation admin can manage the permission rights of the channel admin, editor, editor-limited and reader from the organisation dashboard in the following categories:
- Content Management:
- Allow user to create/manage new mix/card: It will allow a user with a specific user role to create new mix and manage existing mix created by the user itself. The user cannot manage the mix created by other users. User can also set up integration connection in the mix created by the user itself.
- Allow user to manage mix/cards created by other users: It will allow user to manage mixes created by other user. User can also set up integration connection in the mix created by the other users.
- Push Notification Management:
- Allow user to send push note: It will allow users to send and manage push notification and In-app message from the channel dashboard.
- User Management:
- Allow user to add new curators: It will allow users to add new curators (channel admin or editor) within a channel but they cannot delete existing users.
- Allow user to add new readers: It will allow users to add new readers (editor-limited or reader) within a channel but they cannot delete existing users.delete existing users.
- Allow user to delete curators: It will allow users to delete existing curators but they cannot add users.
- Allow user to delete readers: It will allow users to delete existing readers but they cannot add users.
- Chat Management
- Allow user to create direct chat with admins of the org: It will allow users to create 1:1 chat via app with users with organisation admin rights.
- Allow user to create direct chat with curators of the channel: It will allo users to create 1:1 chat via app with users with channel admin or editor rights within the channel where the user is part of.
- Allow user to create direct chat with curators of the org: It will allow users to create 1:1 chat via app with users with channel admin or editor rights across different channel in the organisation.
- Allow user to create direct chat with readers of the channel: It will allow users to create 1:1 chat via app with users with editor-limited or reader rights within the channel where the user is part of.
- Allow user to create direct chat with readers of the org: It will allow users to create 1:1 chat via app with users with editor-limited or reader rights across different channel in the organisation.
- Allow user to create group chat at channel level: It will allow users to create channel level chat groups from channel dashboard.
